Getting a Review of your Website

Update:

Sorry, but I am not currently doing website reviews at this point in time..

Free Reviews – Quick Reviews

If you would like me to review your website, please contact me. I don’t charge for giving for the quick reviews, but they are time consuming, so I am not always able to do a free review. My main job as a website mentor does come first. All free reviews are published on my blog for others to read.

Paid Reviews – Full Website Healthcheck Service

If you would prefer to pay for a very detailed review, please take a look at my Full Website Healthcheck Service for just £50. The healthcheck includes:

  • At least 20 different tips and tricks for improving your website.
  • Feedback on design, usability, search engine optimisations, layout, linking structure, and more.
  • Advice and ideas on new features you wish to implement.
  • A full written report with suggestions and resources to use.

Previous Website Reviews

All previous free website reviews that I’ve done are available in the website reviews category.

    Hi Dan,

Very good of you to give up your time for reviews, the paid reviews are good value – I’ve seen what some SEO companies charge! I’ve sent you a message via the contact form, I’m hoping you can take a look at my loft conversions website.

    Cheers, John

No problem John, I’ve replied to your email. I usually need to ask a few questions first.

Hi Dan, a detailed review is something I maybe very interested in as soon as I have finished developing my site.

When you say “review”, does this include your opinion of the sites user interface and detailed SEO analysis?

  • Dan Harrison says:

    Hi Julian

A quick review is about 10 tips or so, so I stop when I find 10. With the detailed review, I keep going for an hour, finding as many ideas as possible. These tips frequently include ideas of what to do next.

I’m not an SEO expert, although I do know a lot. So what I find SEO-wise is all the common-sense type things you should be doing and taking advantage of. So saying I do a detailed SEO analysis would be wrong.

I’ve got another quick review coming up that I did for John of About Loft Conversions. That might give you a better idea of what I do.

Additionally, let me know the URL of the site you’re considering getting reviewed. I might not be able to do a detailed review.

    I hope that clarifies things.

Thanks Dan, that does clarify things. I’d be very interested to see your review on About Loft Conversions, will you be posting it here?

    Hi Julian

I will be posting the review next week. I’ve got a few things to do this week that are urgent.

    Hi Dan,
I’d definitely be interested in a review of my site once it’s finished. However I’m wondering whether you’d review a site that was work in progress to suggest improvements or tell me where I’m going drastically wrong.

    Cheers
    Matt

  • Hi Dan,

Are you doing anything to promote that you’re giving away these reviews or are they only meant for the regular readers of your blog?

  • Dan Harrison says:

    Hi Matt

To be fair, there are advantages to both. If you’re in the process of creating the site, you’d probably be more open to ideas whilst its being built. However, with a finished site, you’d potentially have more to be commented on. :)

If you haven’t finished a site, then sending me a list of intentions would allow me to suggest things you haven’t looked at or thought of.

    Dan
